The Delhi photo festival gets a new venue on Janpath, close to India Gate
As you know, we launched submissions for #DPF2015 in March this year. And in the meantime have also managed to acquire a new venue for the festival!
The Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA), Delhi, will host the third edition of the Delhi Photo Festival from Friday, October 30 to Sunday, November 8, 2015.
Being very close to India Gate, the IGNCA is centrally located and will attract audiences from different walks of life to the festival. The sprawling space, provides an ideal space for experimenting with art displays and exhibiting photography. The centre has beautiful lawns and the rather arresting Matighar, the dome-shaped structure at its centre, which will serve as a backdrop to several works at #DPF2015.
The IGNCA is a Delhi landmark venue for exhibitions and seminars, and a place where people can come and simply hangout amidst the different works on display.
