Portfolio review session underway during the Delhi Photo Festival, 2013.

Receive expert feedback on your photographs from a leading panel of reviewers.

The Delhi Photo Festival 2015 Portfolio Review is a platform for aspiring and professional photographers, photography students, serious amateurs and photography enthusiasts to present their body of work to be reviewed and critiqued by a panel of leading photography, art, media and publishing experts.

This year’s portfolio review programme will take place over the weekend of the October 31 and November 1, 2015 at the IGNCA in Delhi. This is an excellent opportunity for photographers of all genres and levels to get their work assessed, receive guidance and mentoring for future artistic and commercial career development. Being part of this exercise also gives you a chance to network with influential figures from the photography world.

Delhi Photo Festival has invited over 30 gallerists, curators, book publishers, festival directors, magazine editors, agency directors, educators and renowned national and international photographers to take part in the portfolio reviews.

For our 3rd edition we have three categories of review:

PORTFOLIO REVIEW P01 – Advanced Professional Photographers

Our goal is to offer talented participants an opportunity to discuss their work with leading gallerists, curators, international festival directors, book publishers and established photographers. The participants will be able to get expert feedback and an assessment of their work from the reviewers in a unique format, which allows the possibility for each participant to interact with a number of reviewers.

This portfolio review session is meant for those with a cohesive body of work with a well-developed concept and a solid personal vision who are looking for opportunities to publish and exhibit their work as well as guidance on conceptual approaches or career development.

Applicants will be selected on the basis of a submitted portfolio of photographs, a “Statement of Purpose” declaring what they wish to achieve from the review (maximum 300 words) and a short biography or CV.
